How It Works
Bring your yarn to Columbus House Brewery during Social Knit Night (Mondays, 6–8 pm) on:
January 12, 19, or 26
We’ll assess your yarn, assign it to a category, and issue swap credits.
Yarn Categories & Credits

Sweater Lots (1600+ yards, same color & dye lot): 10 credits

Luxury (retails $20+/skein or cashmere, yak, etc): 3 credits per skein

Workhorse ($10–$18/skein, up to $25 for sock yarn): 2 credits per skein

Saver (acrylic or big box brands): 1 credit per skein
Yarn Requirements

Full skeins (unwound preferred)*

Original labels required
(Exception: 1–2 unlabeled or wound skeins allowed in a sweater lot) -
From a smoke-free home

Clean and not shop-worn
New this year! Partial skeins will be assessed and weighed for partial credits. *Please bring any info you have about your partial skeins.
Drop-Off Details

Yarn must be dropped off in labeled bags or boxes
(Include full name + email) -
$5 participation fee, paid at drop-off

Must contribute at least 1 skein to participate

Friday, January 30 by 5 pm: donors will receive an email with their credit total
