Introduction to Color Work Class SOLD OUT

Join us and instructor, Sarah Pounds, Sunday September 24th 1pm-4pm at Son's Chapel for an introduction to color work!

We will be knitting a bottle koozie in the round using 4 different colors.

There are 4 different kits to choose from. The class will be capped at 8 people! You will need to sign up by Friday September 8th and pick up your kits during our Fall KAL pop up shop on Saturday September 9th at Son's Chapel. In order to get the most out of our class time we ask that you have completed the single color ribbing (more information in the pattern) BEFORE the class starts on Sunday September 24th at 1pm. 

You will learn:

1) Chart Reading

2) Planning for color work/ color choice

3) Float Tension

4) Catching Floats

5) Carrying up a color vs cutting and joining later

Price includes all yarn, 3 hours of instruction, and pattern. Please bring your own needles. If you need to purchase needles you can do so at Fall KAL Pop Up on Saturday September 9th and get 25% off. 

Recommended Needles: size 7 or 8 and either 3 inch shorties or 2 circulars

 This class is intended for knitters who are comfortable knitting, purling, and knitting in the round. No prior color work knowledge needed!
